Transit Insurance

Your goods are covered while in transit if the vehicle is involved in an accident and the furniture is damaged as a result of the accident, the cover is as follows:

Items are covered under "Carrier Liability Insurance" which is limited cover of $150,000 max per load with $1,500 per item max and $400 excess. This Transit insurance is included in your hourly rate.

If items exceed $1,500 or you require a more comprehensive cover please contact your own insurance company.

Items not covered by insurance:

• Electrical appliances if they fail to operate at new address.
• Cracked or damage items, torn, scratched or dented items.
• Items packed by clients.
• Breakage and Handling Insurance.

BK Movers take all the necessary care to ensure that your goods arrive safely at the next destination or into storage.

However, there are many circumstances in which a removalist is not liable for any loss or damage to your goods. As such BK Movers does not provide breakage and handling insurance.

For these unforseen circumstances, if you wish, we can arrange insurance on your behalf at a nominal fee.
